Teens With a Purpose is committed to creating platforms to allow young people to use their voice, their power and their creativity to effect positive changes.  To this end, we have joined in a national campaign to address the issue of racial profiling with the purpose of shifting negative perceptions on black and brown people.  On the local level, TWP is actively engaged in building stronger relationships between the police force and the community through our Redefining Community Campaign. Offered In partnership with The Norfolk Police Department,  the goal of Redefining Community is to continuously cultivate an inclusive community where trust, safety and mutual respect is shared between members of the community and those hired to protect and serve it.
